You will not want to miss this book, or it's powerful message for your life! I hated having to put it down, every page was a breathe of fresh air! This book speaks to the anxieties of our times! I HIGHLY recommend it! The way he writes is so personal and easy to read. Everything the subheading says is true, if you want to Imagine Your Life Without Fear than read this book!
This book talks about why we are afraid, and Max does an amazing job as storyteller. He will grip you from the first page as he tells a story about his brother and his last act of courage in life. He speaks to the heart of your fears, and uses amazing stories as well as biblical references for you to hold on to in your own times of fear.
Some of the topics he covers are: Fear of Not Mattering, Fear of Disappointing God, Fear of Running Out, Fear of Not Protecting my Kids, Fear of Overwhelming Challenges, Fear of Worst-Case Scenarios, Fear of Violence, Fear of the Coming Winter, Fear of Life's Final Moments, Fear of What's Next, Fear That God's Not Real, Fear of Global Calamity and Fear of God Getting Out of My Box. Just the subtitles of his chapters make me want to start flipping pages again.
For me, this book is life changing! I can honestly say I am still fearful, but rather than being anxious all day worrying what can happen, I repeat to myself the truths that still resonate in my head. Truths I had read from the Bible, but mixed with Max's direct story telling makes it more personal and help me remember them. I highly recommend you all go out and get a copy. I know for me it was a quick, easy and powerful read!

"Fearless," by Max Lucado, is about more than just living fearless; it's about reacting to every circumstance with faith. Surprisingly enough, Max Lucado books fill my house, yet this is the first one I've read. I could not put it down! This is a book in which there is no question God spoke every work through Lucado. I highly believe that every believer needs to read this book. We live in a society that teaches us to do things for ourselves if we want to them to be done right. We really should be surrendering every circumstance and situation to God. This book masterfully points out that a life where every first reaction is faith causes that life to be a fearless one. Once one lets go of that complete faith they tend to fall. Fear is something I do struggle with so I definitely related to this book; I ate up every word and have since been trying to react with faith. It is something we can only continuously strive to become. Just imagine how freeing it would feel to have no anxiety, no fear. The cover's punch line best sums up this book. "Imagine your life without fear."
